From the very beginning, we knew that every ingredient for our candles has to be natural and possibly biodegradable or recyclable. We wanted to source everything locally, in the Podkarpackie Region and to personally know all our subcontractors. Here, however, not everything was possible to accomplish.
Our goal was to create a product unique in every way. Healthy, safe, but at the same time impressive and elegant, suitable to high-end interior design. How did we do it?
First step. Graphic design.
Ania and Mariusz Hanusowie from the graphic design studio Fioletowe.com helped us to translate our visions and imagination into beautiful designs. We hit it off from the very beginning and during many meetings in wonderful Wypiekarni, while sipping coffee and often keeping an eye on our little one, sleeping in a pram next to us, we managed to quickly prepare the design, packaging and visual identification for our product.
Step two. Glass containers.
Next step was to design the glass containers for our candles. Technical designs often consulted and corrected, were prepared in Glassworks Jasło. And this is also where our glass containers are created, to be later covered by hand with organic decal and fired in Krosno. Also, our carton tubes, in which VINCABEE candles are packed, are labelled by hand.
Step three. Wooden wicks.
We wanted for our candles to burn truly beautifully. This is why we have chosen wooden wicks, made of softwood, natural and untreated by any chemicals. Our wicks are 100% ecological and give a soft, warm glow.
Step four. Beeswax.
Our candles are poured with purely natural beeswax. In the beginning, we sourced the wax directly from local beekeepers and we purified it at home. This, however, did not suffice to obtain perfect wax quality. For this reason, we were very happy to reach out to a local apiary, which purifies wax for itself and nearby apiaries with high pressure autoclaves. Thanks to their work, we can now pour our candles from wax devoid of most pollutions. This, in turn, gives a beautiful, clear glow.
Step five. Beautiful photographs.
The last step was to present our product to the world. We cooperated with White Coffee Photo. We wanted somebody else to see VINCABEE candles as we see them and show them as they are - simple and elegant - in the photographs. And finally… (or first?) amazing people.
As a family-run company, we take great care of our relations with others. And it is exactly because of wonderful people whom we met on our way and who often selflessly supported our project, that we were able to create our beautiful and healthy candle VINCABEE. It would be impossible to list all those involved but we just want to thank each and every one of you and let you know that you are present in our thoughts!
